Own a retail store and looking to branch out to the web? Weave Web can help you create a website that reflects your store's brand, atmosphere and service approach.
We can help you with the niggly technical stuff like putting together an online shopping experience that works without making your customers give up in frustration. We can even integrate your e-commerce system with your point of sale system so that everything runs off one database. Most importantly, though, we'll give your online customers the same personal, friendly experience they get in your bricks-and-mortar store.
Case study: Creating an integrated website
People run a youth-oriented clothing store in Sunbury, Victoria. When they came to us, their only online presence was a blog, built in WordPress. They had recently switched to a new point of sale system, Lightspeed.
They knew that Lightspeed had an e-commerce add-on - however, they wanted to integrate this with their existing, very popular blog. On the recommendation of one of Australia's biggest Lightspeed retailers, they approached Weave Web.
We started by fixing up a number of design issues in the WordPress blog. Then we added the LightSpeed store, using under-the-hood trickery to integrate the two platforms seamlessly, so the customer doesn't even notice the transition beween blog and e-commerce system.
Finally, we made the entire site responsive, so it's just as usable on mobile phones as full-sized desktops. In fact, we were the first company in the world to design a responsive LightSpeed site!
The overall result is a seamless integration of point-of-sale, e-commerce and blog content, with a consistent experience for customers whether they're shopping at the store, browsing the website on their desktop computer, or using their mobile phone.
